Oedipus Rex

Consult the list of questions on pages 1359-1360 following Oedipus Rex. Read questions 8, 9, and 15. Select one of those questions on which to write an essay response.

Take notes as you read and go over discussion notes to gather information for your answer.

Write the equivalent of at least one word-processed page but no more than two.

The essay must consist of complete sentences and well-developed paragraphs that refer to the play, quoting as much as is reasonable to do so.

Be prepared to share oral answers with the class on Tuesday, January 29.

Have your draft ready to type on Wednesday, January 30 – or bring it to class already typed.
